While the cuisine is inspired by India’s culture of food, items on the menu consist of both traditional Indian dishes and more modern creations. While spending time in India, Malhotra learned from the best five-star hotels and restaurants as well as street vendors and traders, which has only added to the vast array of flavours found in each and every carefully crafted meal.

All dishes are prepared by highly trained Indian chefs who are all well versed in the Indian method of Dum Pukht. Dum Pukht is the traditional method used by the Moghul Kings of slow oven cooking, and let’s just say… it’s delicious! The menu is not only one that offers many savoury and classical dishes, but also caters to Vegans, Vegetarians and those who like to eat gluten-free with equally as flavourful options making it truly one of a kind.

Many aspects of Aangan come from the purely traditional Indian culture, like the beautiful clay dishes that are used, as well as the 18th century pillars and doors from the Holy City of Varanasi in India, while the relaxed atmosphere attracts families and friends from all walks of life.
